Automated Feed System This component is designed to work in harmony with our shredder head to improve the quality of shred, while greatly improving throughput and efficiency. This is done by a process we call Pre-product Manipulation. The feed system delivers material to the shredder head at an angle optimum for a quality shred. Whether a loose packed office mix or 8” thick green bar and blue print rolls, the shred is consistent with little or no bridging.
Split Shaft Auxiliary Transmission Shredfast utilizes this important component for powering direct drive and hydraulic systems. Transmission mounted PTO’s have long been suspect of component failure and inefficient use of power. A split shaft auxiliary transmission ultimately could save thousands of dollars and limit downtime in the event of this type of failure.
Operating Features And Benefits At the heart of the Shredfast PTS electrical system is a proprietary control module. While harmonizing and timing key components is the primary function of the module, another key function is to relay service codes to the on-board monitoring system. Another feature is the low-pressure hydraulic system, which provides power to the auxiliary functions like the Unloading Wall, Feed System and Rail Lift System. Additionally, hot and cold climates are compensated within the operating system.
