SF300 PTS - Design

The objective was simple behind the design of the SF 300PTS; use superior, longer lasting components and harmonize the system resulting in a lighter, faster and stronger mobile shredder.

A lighter weight means a higher legal payload. Shredfast is proud to say it has the highest legal payload in the industry.   Weight savings throughout the shredder and core components, as well as van body, was achieved by replacing heavy steel or FRP material with aluminum where possible. Additionally, the double walled aluminum van body can handle high compacting pressure. 

When considering throughput, one of the biggest considerations is premature fatigue of shredder components. The shredder used in a SF300 PTS has larger mainshafts and knives to extend life. Currently, sharpening is only recommended every 1,000 hrs.
